Does anyone know when this is coming on? I have been onto Sky and seen all the cast interviews but I cannot see when it is on. I am probably being a bit blind / thick but I really don't ant to miss it!

I am driving myself mad trying to remember where I have seen the guy who plays the doctor before, something recent I think. Any ideas?

Just googled Dr Livesy he is Daniel Mays - was in Made in Dagenham (played the husband) also has been in quite a few tv shows.

That's right recall he was. He was in that thing with Hermione Norris about living on another planet as well (t'was dire). He normally plays secondary roles but has a new programme soon where he has the leading role. Can't remember what it's called though.

Why was the hobbit on speed? All I heard was "Yada Yada Cheese...cheese." Could not understand a word. I see they've left the ending open to a sequel...

I thought Eddie Izzard was terrific in this. Good performances all round but he was the highlight. IIRC the squire wasn't nearly so nasty in the book.

I have recorded it and was going to wait to watch with DD (8). I assume its suitable for her? I was worried opening this thread again in case everyone said it was shit but I'm encouraged.....

We really really enjoyed it, even if it was a tad long and Gene Hunt suddenly channelled the voices of Windsor Davies halfway through. Lots of nasty stabbing though Davros for an 8 year old?
