What am I going to do about Boardwalk Empire.

i have about four weeks on my planner. Ive just watched one, the gangster side of it is really getting on my nerves. Im more interested in the detective and the baby and Jimmy's wife finding another female lover.

Should I watch the rest of the series or not? I think its the last one next week.

It had such promise.

I stuck with the whole first series only to find the last couple of episodes really worthwhile. I haven't bothered witht he 2nd series even tho DH has been watching it so it's on planner. Don't feel I'm missing anything.

So the short answer is no, find something else to watch.

You probably won't like it. I love it. It's better than the first series.

There's more 'gangster' stuff, much more violence, more manoeuvring for superiority between Nucky and Jimmy. Van Alden and the baby are still in it but most of his plotlines involve efforts to prosecute Nucky. Don't know where you are with Jimmy's wife finding a lover but yes, there's more to this.

As soon as I saw them on the beach, I knew . I just want her to be happy. I hope she is. I will probably have to watch it just to find out.
