Ch 4's website said a couple of weeks ago that The Good Wife would be back in Jan, details to follow.

Oooh good. I love 'The Good Wife' The event had Carrie Weaver from ER as an alien but it was really good honestly. I don't think the uk will show the second season even if it didn't get cancelled.

What about Damages? The 4th has long been on in America. So has The Big C.

Desperate Housewives is back next week on Channel 4... buried somewhere around 11pm. I spotted it in a TV magazine quite by accident. I'm sure Channel 4 haven't put any trailers out.

'Treme', anyone? Brilliant musicy drama set in New Orleans, by David The Wire Simon. Series 2 due soon, got s1 from lovefilm. Thoroughly recommended if you like slow-burners.

I saw one trailer for Desperate Housewives the other day but realised I must have missed loads of the last series.

I'm pretty sure Silent Witness was cancelled - made way for the bloody awful Body Farm

I've heard September for Downton too, supermama. I read that there is a mini-series about the Titanic by the same writer which will be on in April. So I'll probably watch that to help pass the long wait...
