Did anyone see this compellingly awful 'doc'? I missed the start but I gathered 'mum' & 'glamour model' Alicia had had form with a well known footballer, had body dysmorphia issues, multiple boob jobs to look like Barbie, fillers in then out, tattoing of eyebrows lips etc. Far enough if that's what rocks your own boat. But her DD (14!!) was being totally pressurised by her to 'model' and 'act', despite the fact the kid was just wanting to be left to go to uni and finish her education.
I have never seen more blatent parenting failings, using the child as a 'mate', a nurse after yet another boob job went kaput, taking her to her own therapy sessions in LA, refusing the take the DD when on holiday in LA to even the beach as she didn't want to be seen in a bikini. It was totally me, me, me.
I think the ending was supposed to be more upbeat and show mum realising that the world didn't revolve around her sort of career (most of her 'colleagues' were by now either call girls, escorts, in prison or alcoholics). But I didn't feel any more positive about either women's future. I just felt so sorry for the DD having to constantly give mum affirmation ('I bet you really want another mum don't you?' 'You can disown me if you want to' whine whine whine).
