Anyone else think that scene with Peter/Carla was just a bit yuk in regards to just how breathy it was urrrrgggghhh put me right of my minstrels!

Carla has form for going for married men (Liam), and picking badly at other times (Tony, Frank). That didn't matter when they were peripheral characters - new at the same time as her, or brought in in reference to her.

It's misfiring this time - the two are just not together and the change of heart was far too abrupt.

I hope Carla is written out really, really soon (for these two cannot continue as a couple on the Street, it s so much the wrong note). Then perhaps we can have Peter grovelling back to Leanne (symmetry?) and go forwards with something that's at least vaguely in character.

I have a soft spot for Peter and Carla. I missed it on Friday so, I don't know how they ended up in the sack. Is he going to have the balls to tell Leanne? I don't know that Carla will be a crap stepmum but, I dont think poor Simon is going to take to her.

I don't dislike Carla, just don't like this story line. Agree they can't stay as a couple on the street but I really think Leanne and Peter will end up back together.

I really like Carla. Do you think even for soapland, Carla made love to Peter a bit too soon after the rape?

Peters accent is very broad, turns me off but he is sexy!

Peter is short. last night it looked bizarre when he was staggering around the park with Carla and he only came up to her chin! carla was wearinh hih heeled boots though. Usually on TV they make sure the guy looks bigger 9even if he isn't like dinky Tom Cruise)

I've just been so bored with the second half of tonight's episode that I started googling instead. According to their agent's website (they both have same one) Peter actor is 5'8 and Carla actor is 5'5. But thanks to this thread, I can't get out of my mind the image of it being t'other way round!
