Corrie - I love Roy

I think that in years to come Roy will be hailed as the stand out character in Corrie. The performance is perfection. Subtle, real. As others come and go we will look back and think (at least I will) 'Roy is the reason I kept on watching as amongst all the often over-the-top way too dramatic nonsense and tedious story lines, Roy Cropper stands out as authentic.'
Just saying....

I liked that time Tony was about to push him in the canal and Roy, very seriously, said "I can't swim."

TV gold.

I agree. Roy has real depth and poignancy. Other 'comic relief' actors in the show should take lessons from him. [cough] Auntie Pam, Julie, Brian I mean you [cough]

Another Roy fan here! He is a sweetie with Becky & some of his advice to her is spot on.

I love the awkward but growing realtionship with his mum too!

I remember when he lived in the other flat and I felt he was strange and a bit unsettling for me. Now I think he is so so lovely and David is an amazing actor.

I have one of those re-useable bags that you fold up into a handy little purse.

My DCs tell me I look like Roy Cropper when I produce it.

I don't think its a compliment
