Its the last of the new series, with Michael J Fox in it. I dont think new comers would appreciate it!! Its very cringy.

Its got Michael J Fox and a very camp little boy in it. Its replaced The Doll as my favourite one.

No! I watched it on Tivo last night - was fab

the doll one is still my favourite though - it was just so good

Love Curb. It's underrated in the country, IMO Smile

katkitya · 22/11/2011 22:15

Its because its on at stupid o'clock. I dont know anyone that watches it.

It was really good.Grin Have missed one episode of this series because not only is it on at a mad time, it's also not repeated and my daughter deleted it before we'd watched it.

midnightexpress · 23/11/2011 11:59

I think I liked the Ricky Gervais one best in this series. The Beloved Cunt is probably my all-time favourite though. And the one with the girl in the midriff-baring top from the last series.

ConOfScience · 23/11/2011 12:03

Love Love Love LD Grin

vjg13 · 23/11/2011 12:07

I thought the RG one was funny despite hating him!

midnightexpress · 23/11/2011 12:23

Me too. I don't like RG, but he did parody himself very well, I will grant him that.

ConOfScience · 23/11/2011 12:24

I love the obvious RL friendships between them and the adlibbing.

Between Larry and Jeff especially.

I particularly enjoyed the episode where Richard Lewis' girlfriend got a boob reduction - so funny how LD seems to be blamed for everything!

My favourite episode was the restaurant opening, with the chef who had tourettes. Brilliant.

When Suzy walks in and says to Cheryl something along the lines of "Fuck you, you trailer trash bitch" Grin

ConOfScience · 23/11/2011 12:25

RG always takes the piss out of himself.

Johnny Depp gave him a slating in his new show Lifes too Short - was hilarious!

midnightexpress · 23/11/2011 12:33

It's his saving grace Con, IMO. The new series is very much like a mash-up of the Office and Extras, don't you think? He's starting to seem like a bit of a one-trick pony to me.

ConOfScience · 23/11/2011 12:43

midnightexpress, Yes I agree.

Gets a little tedious after a while.

Warwick comes across as a twat, and is pretty much basing the character on David Brent.

I have all (podcasts & guides) The Ricky Gervais Shows on audio and find them very funny, Stephen Merchant, Ricky and Karl Pilkington are very funny together.

katkitya · 23/11/2011 16:44

I will record it but, only for Johnny. I cant stand RG and I cant even remember the Curb he was in because as soon as I saw him I fell asleep.

Im loving the way, this season you could practically see them both wanting to burst out laughing. More than before, I thought.

I didnt miss Ted Danson, either.

No, me neither, though I was mighty delighted when Leon turned up. He's my absolute favourite character (apart from larry, obviously)

katkitya · 23/11/2011 17:09

I love Leon too. Its such an unexpected friendship. Larry tries to do the right thing doesnt he?

I dont miss Cheryl either.

I wish more people got the chance to see it.

OP posts:
ConOfScience · 23/11/2011 21:40

Yes, Larry & Leon are great together.

Leon putting on the glasses to get his own way was funny!

But my favourite Leon moment was when he was talking to LD about 'getting up in that ass...' Hilarious.

Love Curb, may start watching from series 1 again, we have all the dvds.

limitedperiodonly · 23/11/2011 23:15

My favourites are the Doll, the Black Swan and the Midriff.

But there are lots of others - Krazy Eyes Killah and the one where Larry had to zoom back to beat the oncologist givng bad news to his girlfriend before he had the chance to dump her. And the one where a woman was being really officious with him at a screening - but was the The Doll. And the one about the racist dog.

Just loads. Don't miss Cheryl either.

katkitya · 23/11/2011 23:32

I never got him and Cheryl together.

I liked the one where Cheryls sisters dp gets baptised and the one where he pretends to be an Orthodox Jew. I often want to ask my Jewish friends if they like it but then I chicken out incase they think its taking the pee. Its very close to the bone on all levels. I dont know anyone in rl that watches it.

OP posts:
midnightexpress · 24/11/2011 08:37

DP is Jewish and he adores it. He is Larry David, in fact, only unfortunately not nearly so rich.

NaughtyBusterAndTheBumFactory · 24/11/2011 11:19

Have got the Michael J Fox one recorded so will come back when watched it!

I liked Cheryl though!

Beloved Cunt was my favourite I think

katkitya · 25/11/2011 22:43

did you watch it?

OP posts:
fifitot · 26/11/2011 08:51

I thought I was the only person who watched this. I loooooooooove it so much. Agree about Leon, he is a genius.

ByTheSea · 26/11/2011 12:35

Loved it. I'm going to miss it now the series is over.

fifitot · 26/11/2011 15:52

Of the recent series, the one with the women's refuge was pretty hilarious and yes very near the bone. He kind of gets away with it though.
