I love it too, I'm rather really fancying Kevin's reindeer hat now!!!

It's lovely watching it with the DC now though. Home Alone 2 is great as well.

Strangely I was having lunch with DS discussing our movie for this evening (DH away for the weekend) and we both wanted to watch Home Alone but I couldn't find the DVD. So we ended up watching Uncle Buck instead. As soon as it had finished I switched over to TV and it was half way through. Managed to record on plus one for tomorrow. Home Alone 2 already programmed in to record too.

My DS is a dead ringer for Macauley and waggles his eyebrows in the same way. Such a funny little kid....

Love Uncle Buck as well.

Home Alone 2 is fab I agree, I love the look of ol' NYC at Christmas!

I don't think I've seen Uncle Buck, must look out for that one!

Went to NYC for my birthday in December when I hit 30 and it was magical and snowy and wonderful.

DS and I have discussed our ideal trip:

Sailing from Southampton to New York On the Cunard. Then 4 nights in the Plaza, Ice skating at Trump tower, snowy carriage ride through Central Park, looking at toys in FAO Schwartz etc. Then Virgin first class home in our sleep suits.

I think it'd cost about 9000. shock DH just rolls his eyes.

Just have to settle for Home Alone 2 and popcorn this avo!

Ahh yes,but worth every single penny Binfull!! I'm afraid I'm nowhere near brave enough to hop on a transatlantic flight, but I would dearly love to see NYC during December!

MelinaMit is a great film but they use the sh*t word a lot more than I remember. So you might be better off waiting for it to come on tv - as it's an edited tamer version for younger dc's?
