Yep, definitely making a date in my diary for that!

Tinker · 03/01/2006 19:25

spacedonkey · 05/01/2006 18:47

oh thanks - I'll record it!

spacedonkey · 06/01/2006 12:21

Don't know if anyone else watched it, but I found it a bit disappointing ... Ricky Gervais was sycophantic. However, it is always a pleasure to see Larry David

i never watched curb your enthusiasm. i thought some of the clips were really funny. the one where he picked up the prozzie just so he could legally drive in the car pool lane was hilarious.

Enid · 06/01/2006 13:35

fell asleep

but have sky +'d it

the bit with the poker game was hilarious

NomDePlume · 06/01/2006 13:36

i've also sky+'d it

Twiglett · 06/01/2006 13:37

god it was so dull

am surprised

it was just a format for showing clips of admittedly funny programmes

but the "interview" itself was up its own arse

Enid · 06/01/2006 13:39

yes feel I should just watch more curb your enthusiasm

harpsichordcarrier · 06/01/2006 13:40

never seen Curb Your Enthusiasm but I think I should
I loved the opera of wearing
and the very inventive insult involving the word car wash...
thought Ricky Gervais was embarrassing though
licky lick up

harpsichordcarrier · 06/01/2006 13:41

swearing
der
and getting into a fight for being jewish and whistling Wagner

Marina · 06/01/2006 13:42

I am definitely going to watch CYE from now on. The scene shouting out rudies in the restaurant made me spill my tea.
I always find Ricky Gervais' manner a bit cringey and ingratiating but the man is a comedy genius and he has excellent taste

Enid · 06/01/2006 16:07

yes I did see the sweary opera

hilarious

esp the carwash one

JoolsToo · 07/01/2006 20:55

this was brilliant! Hope we get Curb your Enthusiasm - soon

Clayhead · 07/01/2006 21:15

Love CYE. Have just watched series 4 on More4(I think, could've been E4) and was crying with laughter at some of it.

dh had series 1 & 2 on DVD for Christmas too so loads more to keep us going.
