Any one else see this the last two weeks? I am really enjoying it. There are lots of military programmes following recruits or tours of duty in Afghanistan - but this is a bit about what it is like to be a forces wife/partner/girlfriend.
Really great to see the boost in confidence the singing is giving too.
Any forces MNers watching? Is it a fair reflection of what it is like?

I was welling up last night watching Blush

There's a good thread here about it.

Actually I was wondering, when I watched last night's, how many of them might be MNers!

Especially when that Sandhurst general (?) said seeing their emotion made him get for the first time how it felt for the families at home

I think those who are deployed do get how it feels to be left behind, but they can't afford to dwell on it when they are away, or so dh tells me.

I felt a bit uncomfortable about the subtitles giving the woman's name and then whose wife she was. As if she only existed as a sattelite (sp?) of her husband Hmm

All the women are lovely and I always like Gareth's choirs
