Yes, and I was annoyed that co-sleeping was lumped into the same risk category for SIDS as falling asleep on the sofa with your baby for instance. Also at the end they stated current SIDS figures of 300 deaths a year, all to smokers and 2/3rds who co-sleep, but there was no distinction in the figures of who had fallen asleep on the sofa or who was actually co-sleeping. All the advice I've read is to not co-sleep if you've had a drink or been smoking, and not to use duvets and keep pillows etc away. None of this was discussed, very poor imo.

Agree, v poor, and a shame because I think it would put people off if they were undecided? Poor Anne diamond, I can understand her stance, but I think she should absolutely be in a position to clarify how many of these 300 were on the sofa and how many were in a bed.

Yes I was very annoyed at this as it was very one-sided and would put a lot of people off co-sleeping. I thought it was just as dangerous to put your baby in another room before 6 months but lots of people seem to do it. I'm glad I am better informed than to believe the skewed stats they were spouting.
