So, Kelly has pulled out of tonight's show as she is 'ill'.[hhmm]

Tulisa and Kelly aren't speaking to each other, and Kelly has been criticised for going to the States this week and not 'mentoring'.

All very convenient, methinks.

Johnny has said he is doing something older and not as ott- Iwas thinking along the lines of 'I put a spell on you'- I think he would do that quite well. Mind you, he is being investigated for possible benefit fraud- maybe he'll pull out too!

Craig is not really Thriller material. Actually- Rythmix are a scary bunch- they could do it! Rumours abound that Janet will finally do Cranberries 'Zombie' (but this is rumoured every week)- I hope not, she really hasn't got the strength of voice for it.

Objection and legal action threatened by a music based charity. Don't get it personally, surely loads of things double up on names unless it's trademark??

Apparently Alexandra Burke is stepping in for Kelly Rowland!

The whole Rhythmix name change thing started when Simon Cowell informed a children's charity that had been running for 12 years that they should "speak to their lawyers" because he wanted exclusive rights to the name and the web address etc. The charity would have happily co-existed with the group as any interest in the band surely would have generated publicity for them, but Cowell decided that he must have full copyright in order to make as much money as possible from the girl band so he threatened the charity. The whole thing blew up on Facebook and now a ruling has found that actually, the charity got there first and therefore they are perfectly entitled to keep their name. Due to the shitstorm that Cowell created to try and throw his weight around the charity are now a little pissed off and have said that it would be better if the girl band take a different name, which they have now done.

The general attitude of Simon Cowell and the whole X Factor franchise has also led to a new campaign to prevent which ever talentless hack wins the competition this year getting to Christmas number one. The song of choice this year is the classic and now 20 year old Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. I really hope it gets there. The creators of the campaign are also supporting the work of children's charity Rhythmix

Evening all. Alexandra Burke eh? interesting... actually make that boring because she is just going to be nice to everyone and will say 'I know what it's like to be up there' to every single person.

God, I don't like Alexandra- it was such a fix (isn't it always) the year she won, and she is dull and samey. JLS were robbed. It was great on the final though- Beyonce totally sang her off the stage. Having Alex as a judge is a bit like having Alesha Dixon on strictly- i mean, wtf does she know?

I do hope Kelly comes back- all the sniping and behind the scenes stuff, she might have told Simon to stick his job!

I love DM sleb twaddle- the dribbly pillows were a bit . Do they not have chairs in the studio? Is the XFactor house like a hostel where they chuck you out at 8am, and don't let you back at all til evening?
