I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with Spooks on Sunday nights. I'll have to sit and talk to DP or something [hhmm]

Thoughts on the final series?

imo it was all over a bit too quickly.

I was only just starting to fancy Dimitri and I've spent the last weeks with my fingers firmly crossed that Ruth and Harry would walk away together hand in hand. Although their ending was very fitting.

Thought the ending was incredibly sad but very fitting.

Fragglerocks - So sad :( I'm wont lie, I did weep, it was the worse possible outcome and the exact opposite of what I had hoped, but it did work so well.

And how could we not have fallen for the gorgeous Dimitri sooner?

It was predictable, but I guess I didn't have time to properly predict! I didn't realise it was the finale till about 10 mins before and just lived in hope Ruth/Harry would survive.

I thought bringing Tom Quinn back in was perhaps paying homage to him being the 'first Spook'?

This series was more leading up to the 'big finale' which is a bit of a shame

I do feel like the series was really short and was just a build up to the finale, it didn't really feel like a proper series IYSWIM!

Plus I didn't like the new people in this series!

Milly Molly. Matthew Macfadyn played Tom Quinn who was head of section D in the first 2 series of spooks. Think they tried to do an ER and bring back the big name star etc. He was fabulous - my favourite by far (although I did like gazing at Adam Carter as well). Sundays will not be the same nor next Autumn without a new series of spooks to look forward to

It didn't feel like a proper series at all.

I loved Tom Quinn too, probably my original favourite, followed by Adam Carter, of course, gutted when he was blown up.

I was really growing to love Dimitiri too, then the series ended.

Sundays just wont be the same, I don't think the series was exhausted yet, they oculd have gone on!

Apparently the producer got actor playing Dmitiri to cut his hair for this series and it made all the difference to the phwoar factor, imho. Thought bringing back Mcfadyn was a master stroke, brought the whole thing full circle. Bit gutted that Ruth died but couldn't really see her and Harry doing the whole Good Life scenario in the country. Harry wouldn't exist if he didn't have naughty people to hunt down. Loved Callum's summary at the end - bad people trying to kill us. Thought he was fab. Actually thought it was a nice ending. Nothing too dramatic, life goes on, just without us.
