Sarah Jane adventures - what has given my DD bad dreams?

Might be a bit of a long shot but does anyone know of an episode which features a bad wizard and something to do with being crushed by buildings?

My DD has seen an episode ages ago and keeps getting upset about it at bedtime but I have no idea what it's all about

I've had a quick look on youtube but can't find anything linked to a bad wizard and want to be able to reassure her that it's nothing to worry about!

perhaps she dreamed it? maybe buy her a dreamcatcher?

It couldn't have been Merlin could it? That had a bad witch (Emilia Fox) being crushed by a building.

I wouldn't have thought you'd have a wizard in Sarah Jane, but not sure!

I'll ask my DD1, tomorrow she's a DW/SJA fan, knows every episode!

Could it be a mix of telly viewing & just plain old nightmare?

Dd1 has watched nearly every episode ever made of SJA (and drags me along for the ride) I cannot remember any bad wizards or falling buildings.

My 13y old DD is still awake and she's and DD2 are great SJ Dr W watchers.
She can't think of any falling buildings. There is a Wizard, hypnotist type man in the signs of the zodiac one, who's a bit creaky.

This is her if it was, and the collapsing building didn't actually kill her if that helps at all?

She let her sister sacrifice her on an altar in the next series, but perhaps don't mention that to DD

Have quizzed her again and she is adamant that it was Sarah Jane not Merlin - will have a look for signs of zodiac one.

Aha I knew she'd know!!

When Elizabeth Sladen died, they showed old classic DW shows & one of them involved SJ running away with the Doctor (Tom Baker at the time) in a quarry & she got buried underneath some falling rubble.

But she only got trapped under one big bit which formed an air- pocket & she was saved by the Doc(as ever) & was fine ...hurrah for the Doc!!

Can't remember a specific wizard but poor SJ was always being possessed by some Bad Person or another.

Apparently CBBC have been showing loads of re-runs of anything to do with Elizabeth Sladen recently.

Could it be the episode with the trickster when SJ goes back in time and meets her parents which causes an alternative future with earth looking desolate and destructed?

Aha! We had a look at the CBBC website and all the characters in SJA, and she has identified Erasmus Darkening as the scary wizard - hurrah!

She seemed quite put out when I explained the man is an actor pretending to be a wizard

Oh good Hopefully that should get rid of any bad dreams.

If not, you could show her a picture of the wizard and the actor side by side and compare.
