House fans - can you explain something?

I'm watching the box sets. I am at Series 6 and Cuddy doesn't seem to have a baby any more - when in the last series I thought she had adopted one from a patient who died of eclampsia. Can anyone explain what on earth happened that she doesn't have the baby and it isn't ever mentioned?

She does still have the baby, she just has the world's most overworked nanny (and I think her mother also has the child to stay).

Am currently watching season 7 and it's annoying me too, but the baby is definitely still in the plot - just invisible.

Ah well, the baby has just showed up - how weird. 5 episodes in, and now it the baby appears as if a normal part of the furniture.

So ignore the original question (smile)
