Just watched sat eve episode on I player and the portrayal of a woman exepriencing the first anniversary of her son's death was so true to life, I felt physical pain whilst watching it. I haven't felt this moved about a soap in a while and wondered what everyone else thought?

That character and situation was very sad, I also had tears in my eyes. What awful, awful grief. The worst bit was when she went and turned on his music, as if he was still there. I'm welling up just thinking about it!

The rest of the episode however was textbook Casualty; annoying, smug doctor coming in to shake up the unit, a horrific ambulance crash in which everyone walks away with minor ketchup wounds and a psycho on the loose and nobody calls the police.
