I think last nights was the funniest, Jack Whitehall was brilliant and Howard is always good. I love it but rarely laugh out loud but last night I was. DH does not get it at all.

I love it too! Think Oregon character very very well acted. Howard great, and vod too. Subtle and really really well written. Have a fondness for vod - loved the bit where she stole oregon's introductory paper, and her speech in the last episode.

I loved it when the academics were asking what young people were interested in and Howard said all that bullshitting stuff about them liking the certainty of rocks after 911, and they were all nodding earnestly....

last nights episode was definitely the best of the series. loved it when howard said they were all going to the funeral with jp, and also when vod stood up for jp. think it's very cleverly written the way a bunch of people who have absolutely nothing in common have bonded.

We're just watching it now - we laughed and laughed when we realised it was the table tennis table! I really rate it. It's funnier and cleverer than it appears at first.

I really hope they get a second series, loved last night's episode and agree that it was probably the best one. I loved the bit when the invisible man's visible mum turned up!

I had a year 13 last year who was so exactly like Vod I'm sure it's almost a documentary of her first year (and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if she got thrown off the course and blagged her way back on to it too!).

I missed a couple of episodes so was confused the other night about the invisible man, his mum and the wanking?!! Is his name Paul? Can someone explain?

Yes, there is a seventh housemate who no-one ever sees, Paul Lamb The Invisible Man. There have been occasional references to him all the way through the series, but nothing more than that.

Howard was worried about him so he set up webcams all over the house to watch him (we only found out any of this in this episode) and filmed him wanking in some strange way (I didn't catch exactly what ).

When Paul's mum came we discovered he hadn't actually been living there for the last few weeks because she had brought him home, but he was going to be back for the last few days of term so please could they keep an eye on him.

Howard stupidly let JP download the wanking video onto his phone, and JP predictably shared it with his nasty mates from school, then Howard heroically pretended it was him so Paul wouldn't have the humiliation of everyone knowing it was him when it went viral.

I love Howard too, Greg McHugh is a fantastic comedy actor (watch Gary Tank Commander on BBC iplayer if you haven't seen it) and I hope he has a very bright future.
