I want that 800k house they just bought so jealous and how on earth do a couple that must be only late 30's have that sort of money to spend

I missed the start so I might of missed how.

i wonder this all the time as i sit in my £140,000 box with mucky windows and overgrown garden....

where do they get that kind of cash?

I wasn't so keen on the arts and craft one, wasn't that the one with the big fire place? I didn't think it would suit young children. well not my boys anyway they would have been in there like a shot

they worked in tokyo and saved up (apparently..)

I would have said they were only 30 so how'd they afford nearly a million for a house?

They worked abroad so saved like mad.
They both have well paid jobs in accountancy.
They sold a flat in London.

Maybe they had inheritances, who knows?

Not sure, but after hearing an it consultant client has retired at 40 after charging £5000 an hour, I'm regretting my career choice!
