I must admit that dh and i were wondering just how Shane managed to look like he does, when every other member of his family fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Esp the brother.

So true Northerner - god they are an ugly bunch aren't they?! They all seem to have much stronger accents than him too - although I've noticed that with dh, his Dad, Sister and Mum have quite strong London accents but his isn't that pronounced at all (thank the Lord).
