I need to buy a gift for a Mr Bean fan.
Is the animated series any good? And are the jokes new or is it just an animated version of the original series.
Thanks

My DD (3yo) has the cartoon ones and she loves them, but theyre not really adult viewing. (shown on the kids channels) Smile

Oh didn't realise it was mostly aimed at kids. Back to the drawing board ....

The cartoon is aimed at kids but it's still funny IMO :) You can get Mr Bean's Diary, well you could get it years ago, maybe try Amazon or similar?

You could try the DVD of Jacques Tati's film 'Jour de Fete'. Rowan Atkinson was very influenced by Tati when he created Bean; there is some French in it (subtitled) but it is mostly visual humour.

My Bean loving 12 yo DS absolutely loved it.

Have a look on Book Depository, there are quite a few books on Mr Bean.
We love the animated version in our house...adults and children!
