Bear with me if I've missed anything in the last few days, I've not watched it since Saturday.

You know the bloke on Space Cadets with 'the hair'? The one who looks like Sideshow Bob? Well I've just seen an advert for the National Blood Transfusion Service and he was on it! He's an actor and we're all being conned!! It may be the biggest con in history but we're the mugs!!

I've not seen the programme but I thought it was known that the whole thing was a hoax (for the contestants that is)

Yup - dh shoed me that advert last night. I knew I recognised him - I just assumed I'd gone to school with him .

yeah - if one of them's an actor - they all are (not counting the ones we know about.)

I got sucked in last night and watched the whole episode - bad mcmudda...

Yes, they've made it clear there are actors involved - both 'astronauts' and at least one 'cadet'. The actors do a diary room thing talking about how dim the participants are. They needed to use actors to keep the momentum going and try to quash any suspicions from the others.

what she is saying is that one of the space cadets that wasn't announced as an actor the one with the big ginger hair is on an advert. basically he is an actor but hasnt been confirmed as an actor . its all a con.

It seemed a really stupid programme IMHO

I saw a bit when the were in space and getting ready for bed without weightlessness -- how is that supposed to make them or us believe ?????

I havent seen a guy with big ginger hair. Is he one of the 4 cadets? I only watched for the first time last night.

if it is a con or isn't it is banal and dull tv anyway, i have only sen bits in a vague att emp to see some merit in it but can't they are so uninteresting never mind the supposed space hoax

Bit dull really. Some lot of TV types all sat round a desk and thought "let's con the viewing public, but make them think that they're in on the joke." So all the Space Cadets are jobbing actors desperate for fame. 4 are revealed as actors so we can guffaw behind the backs of the "real" cadets, but really they're all fakes too. Probably looked really good on paper at the planning meeting.

Either that or they really have gone into space and the joke's on the actors...

and how did they cover things like your ears popping and things like that...CRAP!

basically they haven't fooled us.. we are not as thick as we look

there are a lot of forums talking about it though so i guess the viewers must be there so the advertisers will be happy

But how can they con us? By us turning our TV to a different channel cos it's shite?
