Last episode of The Killing (Danish one), there's a bit I don't understand. Don't read if you've not watched it!

I loved this series and can't wait for the next one. But, there is just one bit I really don't understand.

Can someone explain the flat/video tape/Bremer bit. So Morten went to the flat on the Saturday, saw the state of it and cleaned it up a bit and cancelled the new toilet. So it wasn't Rie, is that right?

Who took the surveillance tape and send it to Lund and why? Was it Bremer? It's the Bremer bit when Toels was at his bedside I don't get.

It's been bothering me all day. Thanks.

I don't think you ever know. Since it was probably Morten who hid it I got the impression it was Morten who posted it. I don't think Bremer had any idea of what was going on in the end, despite it looking that way....?

yes it was morten not ries who went back to the flat and cleaned up quite a lot of the flat (and the stairs). and he cancelled the loo delivery. then in the last two episodes he purposefully dropped a few hints that it was probably ries in order to drive a wedge between the two of them. troels had become such a twunt he believed morten and is now stuck with the conniving freak.

he also nabbed the surveillance video.

bremer and his people had found a photo of troels presenting a medal to nana a couple of years previously. in the photo they are almost embracing - so if the photo got out it would seem to disprove troels' repeated assertions that he had never met nana and never knew her. hence why bremer was so excited - he thought this picture was the smoking gun that would prove troels a liar.

again, morten knew about this photo as he was there at the time and he thought he had obtained and destroyed all the copies.

Aha, I'd forgotten about the photo Smile.
