Fab! My DH got his friend to bring julie's cookbook over last time he came! So much better than the uk version. Am off to sky + the bad boy!

Absolutely LOVE this show. Fantastic stuff last night.

The 2 un(der)cooked meatballs on a pile of mash were priceless. Not to mention the broken cock and poo on a plate! And Beef Bites :-).

There are signs of greatness here as well though. Could be a very good competition.

Can't believe that Jay has gone - I really thought he was going to be in it up until the last week......

So far I think Hayden, Michael, Craig and Danielle are all quite strong contenders.

Jay had flair and liked free form cook. Deserts take a lot of care and precison and that was his undoing. A lot of professional chefs don't like deserts and baking in particular because it allows so little room for invention. You have to follow the recipe when baking deserts and cakes.

Interesting fact that seems to have been confirmed today. Most top pastry chefs are women.
