Which one are you?
Stay at home and don't let your 7 kids out of your sight OR Go to work and do lots of shopping

Somewhere in the middle. I'm a nervous mother of 2 who sees danger lurking behind every lampost - but go to work 3 days a week, buy a few ready meals and cook a few from scratch (then worry that I'll get killed in a nasty car crash on my way to work and leave them without a mother, or that I'm being neglectful because I do work, but actually love my job and the money!)

They're both freaks this week IMO.

Lots of learning possibilities though, if they're open to it.

Caligyulea · 29/11/2005 21:51

I just can't believe the mom of 7. How barking is she? Talk about utterly disempowering your kids so you can have 100% control. Nutter. (Missed the first chunk, so maybe she's just come across as more barking than the other in the later stages of the programme)

paolosgirl · 29/11/2005 21:52

I should point out that I didn't actually watch this! (didn't know it was on)

hunkermunker · 29/11/2005 21:53

Utter loons. Both men a bit wet, both women strong in the wrong way.

expatinscotland · 29/11/2005 21:56

Good lord! That woman w/7 kids was a complete freak. Not letting the kid use a pencil?! FFS!

How are they supposed to learn how to make a good assessment of others - who's good for them and who's bad for them - if they can't even see people outside the house?

hunkermunker · 29/11/2005 21:57

Did you see that bit with her asking her daughter's date if he'd washed his hands?! Loon!

expatinscotland · 29/11/2005 21:58

Now she's sitting in a corner watching her daughter date! What a selfish bitch. I mean, don't you want to see your daughter find a partner who makes her happy and be part of a happy couple? Like you are? How selfish to deprive your daughter of the opportunity to do that.

spidermama · 29/11/2005 21:59

Those poor girls. They're going to live as far away from mum as they possibly can when they're old enough.

RTKangaMummy · 29/11/2005 22:02

and then to go and check if the dates hands are clean and sniff them

and then squirt soap

expatinscotland · 29/11/2005 22:04

What's she going to do, be there on their wedding night to supervise them?

MrsSpoon · 29/11/2005 22:33

Nah, there will never be a wedding night, any potential hubby has to kiss the mother first and the father isn't going to allow that! Nutters!
