My mum's from Galicia. Interesting to see how accurate it will be:)

Never been to Spain, so I have no idea if it's accurate, but it looks wonderful

It is. Santiago is one of my favourite places in the world. Food is fantastic.

I want some of that black pudding. In fact, no I want it all. All the food that is.

I'm sure it is beautiful but anywhere with Rick Stein in it is my idea of hell. Don't understand why the BBC give him so much airtime.

Ah, San Sebastian now. All my cousins live there!

It would seem the Basques are the like the Scots - lots of boozing and fried food.

This is making me want to go to Spain now and eat. Very suggestible

Lots of fried food. Lots of wine and beer. I live going out in the Old Town in San Sebastian, but I can only cope with the odd night out. The lunches go on for hours and hours:)

I've just suggested to dh that we take a road trip round Spain in a campervan.

Timidviper - why? I love him! Think his books are fantastic, the recipes all work.
Am also now planning a trip!
