Did anyone watch this last night?

I honestly thought the man tht fell off the ladder was going to be dead or severely brain injured, especially when they showed him in hospital before he went on to have rehabilitation. I was amazed when he was with his brother at the end, bless him.

And, the lad that fell through the window, his backsotry about getting clipped by a motorbike as a young lad and never being the same again and his Dad wondering what he could have achieved if it hadn't happened tears

Yes him in hosp bed with eyes rolling about and looking like an old man. Was so so amazing at end.

I've really 'enjoyed' watching this and yes, that man's recovery was amazing!

Don't the staff do a bloody fantastic job?!!

I thought it was very moving and loved the bit at the end where the presenter said to the brothers "has he told you he loves you" and they both rolled around in genuine heartfelt laughter. Heartwarming moment as teh love between them was so obvious.

Yes, I love this. Nicely made - not overly sensational, but gripping and occasionally very funny. It certainly makes you appreciate medical staff and value your health!

I watch this every week. Love it. And I love Sister Jen, she takes no prisoners when people start acting up!

The staff are amazing, especially with the abuse they have to put up with sometimes. I also like the 'eavesdropping' on the conversations of the people who are waiting to be seen-some are hilarious, like that woman who'd sliced her finger and had brought her ex-bf with her for support (not her husband ) and regaled him with the tale of how a friend of hers managed to 'blend' her own finger preparing baby food whilst suffering from 'baby brain'... "it's a recognised condition, you know!"

Some are poignant and sad. The poor girl who'd been knocked off her bicycle who's own boyfriend had been killed in the same way the year before. She was so accepting of it, but her eyes said so much as she sat there all alone watching the other people who had friends or loved ones with them for support. I wanted to cry for her. Or the american guy who was a really intelligent academic who'd come over to study but somehow ended up an alcoholic and lost his wife and family.

I get so angry at the whingers though. The patients with hardly anything wrong, who sit there moaning that they've been there a whole 20 minutes and no-one is seeing them because all staff are just lazy ( and not actually all in a cubicle trying to save someones life. Grrrr!)

I watched it. I really thought that ladder guy had bought it. I shed a tear when they interviewed him at the end

Nicely made programme; Sister Jen is a hoot

I watch most of it through my fingers but always end up feeling uplifted.
