After playing Pat Butcher/Evans for 25 years, Pam is quiting Eastenders.

I thing a perfect reunion with Peggy is in order with the 2 of the buggering off together somewhere. Would be good for a couple of special one off eps too.

hope she gets a good exit and doesn't jut trot of to new zealand

Do you think they'll bring Peggy back for a one-off? I sometimes see her in my local M&S (Pat not Peggy, although I have seen Peggy in Sainsbo's flogging her book a while back)

I saw this - a shame (not that I watch EE anymore but back in the Frank&Pat days she was great).

I worked for an Aids charity a good few years ago and we'd asked her to do something for us - publicity; she couldn't, but rang to wish us well and apologised in a lovely, very thoughtful sort of way. Sounds quite posh in RL.

I think she may live in a village near(ish) the studios.

I thought she lived in Mundesley?
