Ok, I think it's important that soaps carry this kind of story but, why oh why, isn't anyone talking about safe sex? As far as I can see, no-one has mentioned condoms, never mind the fact that all seem to be sleeping with each other.

Someone did, yes Indi did, she said something along the lines of we practice safely but I'm going to get checked anyway.

I also think that they have rather gone into this flat panic about getting tested. If I'd been in a teenager (with little knowledge) I'd think that long term might mean having it for a month would make me infertile. It would scare me tbh.

Ok, fair enough Although I don't understand why Charlie didn't mention them to Ruby, especially given her propensity to shag any male who looks in her direction.

True indeed of Charile, I really don't get her story line with Brax though, she's always taken her job too seriously (I know it is now going to be thrown in her face by Angelo but honestly, all they ever do is kick their police officers out of the force). Just too unlikely.

And Charlie needs to get some better mascara too, it's getting lumpy.

Charlie's always been unprofessional though- she arrested Brax for snogging her, then lied about his alibi when Angelo got attacked.
She also arrested the driving instructor who'd dumped Ruby and threatened him so that he would tell Ruby how wonderful she was.
She also let Casey off the hook for trespassing when it emerged her own daughter was involved.

I seem to remember she wasn't exactly professional when it came to the Hugo storyline, and didn't she help Alf when he was being investigated for the murder of Penn?

She's basically the worst police officer ever. Her short-haired colleague (the one who seems to have no name) is way better than her.

You are right, Charlie is rubbish.

I stopped watching for a while - can you tell me about Penn? Who murdered him, I know he's the father of Nicole's baby but that's about it.
