Where is the story going? Is it just to get Zainab back?

awwrrr Masoud...poor man. It's annoying me now, that pesky Yousef... something has got to give. And as for Zainab, what she said to Masoud tonight was outrageous. She has loved and lived with him for years, and she is not listening at all to what he has to say.

The script writers know how to bring emotive upset to the screen. Something will give, whether it be Denise finding something out, or someone will come to Masouds defence, either way... that Zainab needs a good slap round the chops.

I reckon the SIL was listening in to his conversation with Zainab when he declared undying love. The camera kept panning around the room but she was nowhere to be seen Probably saving it for tomorrow's wedding....if of course there will be one now!
