My 3 year old son is OBSESSED with this show. Anyone else seen it? He keeps telling me to pretend I am Stephanie the girl with the pink hair!!

Apparently dd (22 mnths) loves this too according to dp anyway. Ive seen it once and its the wierdest of the wierd. Isnt it scandanavian or something?

DaddyCoolNippingAtYourNose · 17/11/2005 16:02

theres been loads of threads on this lately. it's pretty much agreed that it's a load of rubbish

puff · 17/11/2005 16:03

It gives me the creeps big time

Zephyrcat · 17/11/2005 16:03

HATE IT !!!

DD loves it though

tarantula · 17/11/2005 16:03

Well Ive never seen anything on it Obv not on here enough. Must speak to my boss about my work load

Baba · 17/11/2005 16:04

The guy SPORTICUS actually writes, directs and stars in the whole thing - it seems to be German I think. I think its too frightening for children!!

ds (17 months) has just been sitting on his trike watching it, I can't stand that Euro-pop style music but he was swaying and waving his arms in the air. My son has no taste in music.

pipsqueak · 17/11/2005 16:09

my dd aged 3 loves it too . Even though its utter c**p i would quite like to get her a vid/dvd for xmas . does anyone know if it is available?

Baba · 17/11/2005 16:17

have a look on e-bay- they have loads on their and also a colouring/painting lazy town set and a compilation of all the music.

It's Icelandic. My three love it.

tarantula · 17/11/2005 16:40

Its all that puffin they eat!!! Does something to the imagination.

serenity · 17/11/2005 16:44

That and the large amounts of drink etc they consume during the winter months...

It's just the sort of thing you'd think up after 3 months of no sun, and a few bottles of that vile potato homebrew.

northerner · 17/11/2005 16:45

Yep my 3 year old is a big fan too.

tarantula · 17/11/2005 16:47

think youre right Serenity. This has a def feel of home brew to it didnt know they made poteen in Iceland tho. See you learn something new everyday.

Mhamai · 17/11/2005 18:06

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! that's English not Icelandic!

janeybops · 17/11/2005 18:12

dd who is 4 and ds who is 2 both love it. don't get a word out of them the whole time it is on. BUT it is awful isn't it???

jodee · 18/11/2005 23:27

Yep, ds aged 5 loves it, can't wait to see it when he gets home from school. My living room is now some sort of gymnasium, he keeps copying Sportacus.

And why is it called Lazy Town if no-one's lazy in it? (no need to answer that!)

serenity · 19/11/2005 01:28

Well, they were lazy before Stephanie came and got Sporticus to be their hero.

skerriesmum · 19/11/2005 01:38

My ds (2) loves the theme song but is afraid of the actual show!

myturn · 19/11/2005 08:54

My 5 and 6 yo's LOVE this. They dance around the living room and sing the songs. I think it is mad, but then it's not really designed for my age group I suppose...
