My 15 year old spotted it and has put it on to record......Do you think it will be suitable? Smile

JackieNo · 11/06/2011 20:25

Lots of sex apparently. I was planning to watch - it looks magnificently awful Grin

corsilk · 11/06/2011 20:26

Is it a new one?

nagynolonger · 11/06/2011 20:31

I know he watched the Tudors round a friends house.......because they both like history! He can watch it when I'm out..

CliffTumble · 11/06/2011 20:31

Looks like the tudors, but with a round table.

Why are they doing King Arthur again? Hasn't it been done to death? Same with Robin Hood. I really fancy a good original period drama. Watching it for lack of anything better and the rubbish weather keeping me in tonight

LordOfTheFlies · 11/06/2011 22:11

DH is watching it at the mo. Read previwes before deciding best not to let DS (11) watch it.
DH is into Game of Thrones, and Merlin.

Arthur is not how I would picture him TBH

OracleInaCoracle · 11/06/2011 22:16

i watched an hour of it and got bored so switched. am loving game of thrones though!

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 11/06/2011 22:24

Good grief, it's practically porn. Shock Enjoying it though! Grin

OracleInaCoracle · 11/06/2011 22:27

but at least in porn the acting is better!

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 11/06/2011 22:35

Ha ha! To be honest, I'm MNetting and only watching when there's a rude bit!

LordOfTheFlies · 11/06/2011 22:56

Cor there's loadz of killings as they say in League of Gentlemen.
Are there going to be any characters left for the next howevermany episodes!!

Punkatheart · 11/06/2011 23:35

Swords and saucery - need more in the way of sorcery. Absolute pants!

chutneypig · 12/06/2011 08:16

I was pretty disappointed with it. There were very brief flashes of something that could be very good, so maybe it will come good. But I'm not holding my breath.

JackieNo · 12/06/2011 10:38

Well it was as bad/good as I'd expected it to be. I was particularly Grin at Guinevere dancing round an invisible white handbag at the post-coronation party - she danced like it was 1985 Grin. Are they all 2 hours, or was it just for the introductory one, do you think?

WorzselMummage · 12/06/2011 10:40

I turned it off, it was dire!

purepurple · 12/06/2011 10:40

It was quite hard work at times. Didn't really enjoy it as much as Merlin, which I loved.
