Did anyone see it?

Did you cry at the end when that 2 fantastic Transport Police officers met the woman they saved - very emotional. The young one (Aaron I think) was so over come.

Although I already know just how great our emergency services are, that programme really brought it home how much they do. I think we are a very lucky nations to have such dedicated and wonderful men and women risking their lives for us.

For any of you MNers who are police, firefighters, paramedics, ambulance techs and so on, or those of you whose DH/W/Ps are, thank you...

Nobody saw it then?....

Yes it was very emotional and I did have a tear t the end. I just feel the emergency services have not been fully recognised for what they did.

I saw a bit of the programe on National Geographical channel this afternoon when the kids were upstairs. I was in the City on 7th July and it was a truly horrendous day although I wasn't directly involved.

It makes me shudder to think about what happened and I must admit it the blonde lady who was telling her story and struggling not to cry just made me cry.

I had to turn it off because DD came down and I don't want her seeing it.

I agree the emergency services excelled themselves- hats off to them. Give them more money Tony.

Yes I saw it and yes I did shed a tear at the end. Thought the whole programme was well done - could easily have been full of gratuitous scenes but wasn't. Really brought home how brave and selfless the emergency services are.
