Feel quite stunned by this episode ..

It's a wonderful,and fascinating series,but this episode is extremely difficult to watch I agree.

Oldraver..is he ok now

Yes. He was one of the less dramatic ones but on his 8th shoulder dislocation, and I've always managed to be elsewhere so have never seen him with it out (he managed to do it when DS2 was born as well so I had two of them in hospital at once). He was maxed out on Morphine so not 'my boy' IYKWIM

over worked and underpaid

Dh and i watch every week and love it but thought this week was especially good. I actually sky+ it and this week made my 7yo dd sit and watch it because she has a habit of running out of the house straight across the road to her friends house. She now stops and looks everytime she crosses and has even asked all her friends if they can check before crossing because she loves them so much.
Abit extreme i know but without the shock that could of very easily been dd
