Am sure some people will find it v entertaining, but have come to work today and nearly everyone I've spoken to is just embarassed that someone, somewhere might actually think Geordie's are like that !

I miss newcastle so much, it is the best city in the UK imho.
I love the architecture, the shopping, the bridges, the heritage, the beaches close by, but most of all the people.
Everyone i have taken up north with me are blown away by the friendliness of the geordies.
Cant wait to be back gor a whole weekend next month woo hoo

Im a Geordie and i think its embarrassing although their are quite a few people like this but you get that everywhere. They have just used stereotypes. I love Newcastle, i just hope it doesnt put people off coming

I wasn't born in Newcastle Fifi, which is why i don't count myself as a Geordie. My DS was though.....now he will be labelled for life

Also i'm evidently not very modern as I was very at that jay one having his eyebrows waxed.

I quite liked it, entertaining but then I am a big fan of the horrendous "Jersey Shore" too on which this is based ripped off from.

I was visitng my Mum in April and we saw them filming on the beach at Tynemouth, so I want to watch to see if I'm in it.

I was born in South Shields so I am a Sand Dancer . Lived in Newcastle. Now live in Gateshead and can see the river (and St James Park) from my bedroom window so officially a Geordie. Everyone I am in contact with thinks the programme is dreadful and gives a terrible impression of the area. It is all over Facebook! Haven't watched it myself yet - not sure if I can bring myself to do it.

Haven't watched it. Won't watch it. It's filmed next to where I work and I can't help thinking that the residents must have been delighted when they all moved in. Car crash television with talentless wannabee celebs.

Dazzling after watching it on Sky+ I can't imagine the neighbours are happy with all the noise etc. either.

I tried to watch this but found it so embarassing! Not all Geordies are like that, definitely not me.

I did like their house though, would be very expensive to live where they do.
