I was shocked when I saw Gilly Coman. She must have been fairly young.

Wasn't there the Dr. Watson character from an older Sherlock Holmes as well? The one with Jeremy Brett as SH.

When TOWIE got the youtube viewer's choice award or whatever did anyone notice the stony faces of Benedict Cumberbatch and the other guy etc.? They seemed really pissed off. and I was too

I had my eyes covered to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions! They were all hoiking up their dresses I thought it was a definite!

Edward Hardwicke was Dr Watson. He was also in Love Actually as Liam Neesons F inLaw, and Shadowlands as Warney CS Lewis's brother. Gilly Coman was about 50, she died of a heart attack!

I find it very easy watching, very funny and can't wait for its return in Sept.... hey! stop groaning lol

I was shocked Geoffrey Hutchings (Mel from Benidorm) am I the only one who didn't know, I kept thinking (on the actual program) it was a hoax and he'd come back.... I guess he definately won't! :(
Oh and Gilly Coman... I googled and she died age 54 of a heart attack... so young!

Must be pretty demotivating to the program makers too. All the effort of creating something like Sherlock or Downton Abbey but what the public for the most part want is trashy telly like TOWIE.

Well as a member of ''the public'' I enjoy all types of programmes and was a huge fan of both Sherlock and Downton Abbey both brilliant in their own right... Why would this then mean I wouldn't like TOWIE? I love the cheesyness of it, the bling, catchphrases and drama.... :)

I heard the Downton producer sniffily say yesterday that the sort of people who do ITV phone and text ins aren't their main audience....as i say - sniffily....

I don't think that was a phone or text in thing though, it was on youtube. I logged in one day to look at something and saw the nominations on the home page and the buttons to vote. You didn't have to be a registered user on youtube either.
