X Factor - time to give up?

Anyone else think it's had it's day? I couldn't give a stuff about the contestants, it hardly ever produces any real 'talent' with any kind of longevity, and it's not even that funny now the changed the early audition format.

The judging panel is just a joke, poor old Louis still hanging on, and some supposed 'big names' being brought in to keep it going - Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child, Gary Barlow and her out of N dubs I think?

Seriously ITV, put it out its misery and give us something new and interesting to watch! I'm soooo sick of this audition-style shows.

I'm with you. Although Dannii isn't the most important person in it, I think her leaving was the final straw for me. It's old and tired.

I agree with the above. Past it now although I think gary Barlow might make a good addition. I think their other choices, in particular the N Dubz person, is horrendous - no one has heard of her.

Simon should have got Nicole before she signed up for the American version.

It is going to take a big name to take it foward.

No Simon, Cheryl OR Dannii - no point watching at all. The chemistry and squabbling between the judges was what kept it entertaining for me, and anyway I can't read the name N Dubz without thinking of that appalling Dappy? Dippy? bloke in that band who seems to have an IQ of about eight and a history of assault and threatening behaviour.

Yes I really liked Dannii. Much more credibility as a judge than Cheryl, imo. I agree Nicole would've been awesome.

Exactly, CowardlyLion, the whole point surely is Simon is an expert talent spotter with a proven track record. Not sure any of his replacements can match up to that.

All these singing and talent and dancing shows have just merged into one. It's so boring!
