And Harry and Ruth came sooo close to snogging. Waaaaaaaaah want Spooks back! Now! Having to wait until next year is turning me into a toddler.

You can never tell with Spooks - they cheerfully tear through all the conventions of the genre - but I think Adam is RIP. Very few actors come back after biting the blood bag... and they have a history of killing off main characters.

I had been worried that they'd lose their bite as they did more episodes but was "pleased" when they killed off Fiona (IYSWIM!). Was very worried when they were "investigating" a conspiracy about Princess Diana!! Fabulous, jaw dropping ending.

fell asleep just before the end.... yeah I know... bad form etc etc.... In my defence, no sleep last night. Sick DTs.

So............. what happened after the bomb didn't explode and they handcuffed her?

They let her go because apparently if someone goes a bit loopy in the field you deal with it between yourselves (yeah, right). She promised to go abroad and never be naughty again. Oops. She lied! Tried to blow up the Royal family, failed, but was lying in wait for Adam and Harry when they drove back to MI5 HQ. Ended on a cliffhanger - is Adam alive or dead and is she going to shoot Harry in the next split second. And then the announcer said 'Spooks will be back next year'. Gnashing of teeth here, how can they make us wait months to find out if Adam and Harry live or die?!

No no no way is Adam dead, remember when Tom walked into the sea?

I missed a couple of episodes in the middle when Adam's wife died. How did she die BTW? Haven't they got a little boy? If Adam's croaked it too then LO will have lost both in a matter of weeks. Think it's a little selfish to both do such a dangerous job when you have kids.
I know-only a programme!!!! That was a dramatic amount of blood pouring from his mouth last night.

Don't want Adam and Harry to die! But they won't both die, I know that.

Still no idea what that woman actually wanted and why...but hope all will be revealed in the next series...by which time I will have forgotten why I cared, I expect.

I don't think Adam or Harry die (if Adam got shot in the lung that could explain the blood in his mouth)

The new series starts filming in January so I imagine some of the actors will be threatening to leave to get bigger contracts and maybe they wanted to leave open the possibility of one or two of them going!
