We saw it at the cinema and guessed the ending about 10 minutes into the film (pretty much after the intruder had been in the house). Still not a bad film though.

We saw it at the cinema and neither of us worked it out, I am fairly hopeless at working stuff out, OH is usually better though

fivegomadindorset · 16/05/2011 22:46

I saw it on my own when I was working in Hungary, took a lot or restraint not to shout out OMG when I did get it, which was in the theatre at the end.

BootyMum · 16/05/2011 23:02

Am watching it.

The kid deserves an Oscar. I think it's some of the best acting I've ever seen from a child. He's so tortured!

It is a good film - DD was watching it and as soon as that bloke walked across when the temperature went down she went 'chriiiiist' and ran upstairs.

love this film - that little boy is amazing and so cute i wanted a cuddle with him

smartyparts · 17/05/2011 18:04

I didn't guess the ending when I saw it a cinema.

I watched it last night and cried at the end bits - again. Such good acting from that boy and Toni thingy and even Bruce Willis.

BrigitBigKnickers · 18/05/2011 13:43

Absolutely loved this film.

We saw it at the cinema the weekend it came out and had not read any of the reviews stating there was a twist at the end (or spoken to MIL who has a habit of telling us film endings!)

Neither DH or I worked out what was going on till the end. We watched it recently with our DDs and they loved it to.

When you watch it for the second time you see all the evidence that you missed the first time- like in the scene where the mother and Bruce Willis' character are in the same room, she doesn't actually acknowledge his presence but it seems like they are having a meeting about the boy.

Such a clever film.

My dd studied this at school..apparently befor each 'creepy' event there is something red in the scene to preempt it
