Extreme Couponers?

Anyone watch this last night?

I was amazed at it... them getting thousands of dollars worth of shopping for literally a few dollars!

You could never do that over here.

I have just watched it on V+ I think its brill, can't get over the fact they do $1000 worth of shopping and get it for $20!
Why do they hoard so much though? Surely they wont ever use 250 sticks of deo and 500 shower gels! :o

I did laugh when the young girl fell in the recycling skip! :)

One woman said that the money she's saved by living off her couponing helped buy her massive 4x4 and her huge house... so i don't suppose she ever does a weekly shop, really, iyswim?

Wish we could do it here, would brighten up the weekly shop.

I love the way they say coupon, like kew pon! Yea they great big white thing on the drive, (I know nothing about cars)!
I am sure years ago we had coupons for butter and such like, would make a big difference in our house, although I doubt i'd ever have a 'stock pile' worth $25k! :o

Mind you don't most things USA end up here so maybe in the future....

You're confused! Me too!
They even have loyalty cards which wipe so much off the bill too, I suppose a bit like our equivelent clubcard/nectar points, but still they seem to get loads more deals than us! Maybe they dont have the bogof's or bogtf etc!

But getting to your point about only being allowed to buy say 10 of one item, and they load 400 toothbrushes in to their carts seems madness, (although it must be said I do not want 400 toothbrushes :o)
