I know we were all watching the Apprentice but, Ive recorded it and just about to sit down and watch it. These rich man takes in a poor man shows always make me feel abit uncomfortable but, I like the celebs taking part in this. I will report back.......

What did you think of Alex James? "I don't want a mental. I've got enough mentals already"
Thought Colin & Justin were lovely but with the most troubled chap - the rest just all trying to 'boost their profiles'

kitkatya · 11/05/2011 10:21

I love Colin and Justin but I dont know what they can do for that poor man. I thought Alex was up his own arsem he always has been. And of all people being the supposedly hardcore druggie that he was, you would think he would have abit more empathy. The way he was swanning around with his overalls on bossing his workers around you could tell he hadnt done a days work in his life.

I thought Alex was very rude, I didn't like the way he shouted orders about with no encouragment and the way he shouted at the guy from the homeless charity as if he was something on his shoe. I agree that Colin and Justin have their work cut out. How can you get someone off alcohol in such a short space of time when they have been dependent for so long? They all have such deep rooted problems, it will be really interesting to see what progress they can make. I hope it's not one of those programmes where it's all done for the cameras if you know what I mean?

greentown · 11/05/2011 10:29

I knowwwww! and that whole scene with him jumping into the car artfully parked on the lawn, chucking his packed lunch on the passenger seat and driving off with the door swinging open - what an absolute cock!!!

And then he had the nerve to say to the social worker guy - "I don't want to take part in any contrived tv programme"

Anneka Rice is in way too deep - I think, like Alex, she thought it would be piss easy

Aldo Zilli - another knob - bit of publicity for my restaurants - what a good fellow I am - showing off his tame homeless man to Kate Garraway - sets my cash register going ring-a-ding-ding

Alex James - you are a bonafide, money-grabbing, cheese-selling arse

kitkatya · 11/05/2011 10:46

He's always been a complete knob I cant stand him. I hope its not going to turn out with us saying he is such a nice guy by the end of it. I dont want to change my mind about him. He's getting free labour, thats all Im seeing. I feel for his poor wife.

Anneka has got abit of a posh commune going on there hasnt she? what a lovely house.

I love Colin and Justin. I saw them afew weeks ago in the Ivy and they looked totally together, not playing up for people at all. Really sweet.

Is it a weekly thing?

Colin and Justin have kept up a relationship with the guy apparently, in a mentoring sort of way. Didn't watch the programme but they are friends of friend.

leftblank · 12/05/2011 12:32

I've always disliked Alex James and this has not changed my mind! He is so arrogant and thinks he is far more intellectual then he is. Cock.

Think maybe they are all in over their heads. Apart from possibly Aldo who 'luckily' got a budding cook.

The helicopter ride made me tearful.

kitkatya · 12/05/2011 17:11

I cant stand him, so overrated. I bet he never gets his hands dirty.

I dont mind Aldo tbh, he seems like a grafter.

Im in love with Justin and Colin.

I think that they're in way over their heads too. TBH,if I were Alex,I couldn't have someone in my home, who's hearing those voices Not with 5 kids around. Justin is lovely, and Aldo has landed the best bet. That poor girl with Anneke just hasn't the confidence to say that she's being driven too hard.

clangermum · 12/05/2011 18:25

With Alex, the lad wasn't actually 'in' the house, wasn't he in a sort of caravan? And that was before the issue of hearing voices came up (which actually would be scary around children). But it felt a lot less like opening up your home to someone - more like letting a labourer live onsite.

And I thought Alex didn't know how to take the fact that the young lad didn't know who he was!

kitkatya · 12/05/2011 19:01

Would anybody under 30 know who he is?? Damon they would know but, even then, the poor lad was only 18 he wasnt even born!!

Yes, Alex shouldn't have been surprised, but seemed thrown
