is anyone else watching tonight? 'mine host' has to qualify for one of the angriest men in britain.

I will watch it at 10 ..is it a good one Grin

BehindLockNumberNine · 09/05/2011 21:17

The owner is definately one angry, lonely, little man.

Am looking forward to seeing how this one pans out.....

ceebeegeebies · 09/05/2011 21:18

The owner must live a very lonely life so I do feel a bit sorry for him Sad

But me and DH are a bit Hmm about why it is sponsored by Playtex - seems a very bizarre sponsor Grin

stainesmassif · 09/05/2011 21:18

he is erm.....

I love the Hotel Inspector! The owners are always such odd people.

stainesmassif · 09/05/2011 21:19

sorry, trying to think of something positive to say about him
i don't feel sorry for him, he feels too sorry for himself already. and yet righteous at the same time!

nannynick · 09/05/2011 21:20

Wondering why he wanted to be on the show. Perhaps someone else applied for him?

ChockAGirl · 09/05/2011 21:21

He is deluded.

stainesmassif · 09/05/2011 21:22

i particularly enjoyed his fury at guests daring to leave their rooms untidy. how very dare they!

ChippingIn · 09/05/2011 21:25

What a nightmare - I'd have told him to grow up by now Grin

I feel sorry for him - but some people really do reap what they sow.

nannynick · 09/05/2011 21:25

"not have to talk to you, which is quite nice" - she doesn't like talking to him does she!

ChippingIn · 09/05/2011 21:25

LOL at A cleaner wouldn't pay as much attention to detail as I do

They couldn't pay any LESS attention!

ChippingIn · 09/05/2011 21:26

He would be a bit scary to stay with - you can see him standing over you in the night with a kitchen knife because you'd broken one of his MANY rules.

ChockAGirl · 09/05/2011 21:28

Just when I start to feel sorry for him he says something that makes me think he gets what he deserves.

stainesmassif · 09/05/2011 21:28

yes, i also enjoyed his barely supressed fury at the slapdash cleaner he hasn't employed yet. nutter.

SybilBeddows · 09/05/2011 21:29

She is INSANE trying to get him to make it child-friendly.
She's just taking the piss.
She's doing it to make his life as horrible as possible because she hates him.

but poor innocent children will have to suffer Sad

Guacamole · 09/05/2011 21:30

I feel sorry for him, but he is very strange, he'd make me feel quite uncomfortable.

SybilBeddows · 09/05/2011 21:30

he should be aiming for the clean, tidy, well-behaved, polite Japanese market. Far more his style.

SybilBeddows · 09/05/2011 21:31

yes you would NEVER go and stay there after seeing this. Specially with kids....

Moodykat · 09/05/2011 21:34

Missing it as DH doesn't like it...how will you watch it at 10? Have I missed a +1? If so, please enlighten so I can get my fix!

stainesmassif · 09/05/2011 21:34

he just doesn't seem to like people very much does he. what an odd business to go into if you're basically misanthopic.

OP posts:
SybilBeddows · 09/05/2011 21:36

I bet he's a hillwalker who always wanted to move to the Lakes and decided this was the way to do it.

Camerondiazepam · 09/05/2011 21:37

He reminds me a bit of Adrian Edmondson, for some reason I can't put my finger on.
