Can anyone tell me what the problem is between Maria Fowler and Kirk Norcross. Why is it that they hate each other so much? They REALLY seem to hate each other.

Yes, agreed, it must go deeper than that. The hatred they have for each other seems quite extreme.

She was pissed off with the way he treated her friend Lauren.He's a bit of a twat and cant stand idea that Maria will turn Lauren against him now they're back together. I think shes might come across as a bit aggressive and he's a needy pain in the arse. I think he uses the drinks thing to justify why he's horrid about his girlfriends friend.

I think she hates him because he says things like "shut up, you bitch!" about 2 seconds into the conversation

Anyone else think ALL of the men on the show exhibit controlling abusive behaviour towards the women? (except Harry) Intense jealousy (kirk), possesiveness (all), verbal abuse (kirk, mark), attempts to isolate the women from support networks and destroy their confidence (kirk, mark), lying (arg, mark), playing women off against each other (mark, arg)

must admit I have enjoyed watching it, but all this "these people are real" business is a bit worrying - if they are really like that I they all need a bit of therapy quick smart!
