Need help "finding" programmes on other channels.....

we've just ditched Sky, and gone over to NTL (due to a 'too good to miss' offer from them - which will save us about £50 a month in phone/digital TV costs !) Anyhow, the package we've got (free for a year!) doesn't have Nick Jnr.............eeeek it's DS1's favourite channel (and of course Dora is on there).

I discovered (through chance) that Lazytown was on BBC2 this morning before school, but I need to know whether any of the following programmes are also on other channels (which we may get - we're only on the 'base' pack with NTL)

Dora (unlikely I know)
Backyardigans
Thomas
Wiggles???

Sky used to have a 'search' for programmes on the TV guide, but NTL doesn't so I'm kind of stumped.

Use the Radio Times website , that will allow you to search all channels, or only the channels you get, for a named programme.

As far as I know, Wiggles and Backyardigans isn't on 'normal' TV at all. Dora was on Sunday mornings on ITV at about 7am-ish. I think Thomas is on in the afternoons but not sure which side....

dora is on ITV on a sat morning quite early.

Boomerang is great too - my dd LOVES Scooby Doo and he's always on. Channel 613 I think!

Quite a few Nick jr series also show on Channel 5 - details here . Thomas used to be on CITV.

Backyardigans is only on Nick Jr.

ooo - thanks RT (good to see you back ) - I'll have to buy some videos in and get DH to record those Dora's, we're NEVER up at that time - even on a school day LOL.

You could ask a friend to record the NICK Jr progs too

We used to record all of DS fav progs all on one tape

so we knew that on his tapes {with orange stickers on} he could watch anything on them

So it was his own Ceebeebies channel

Also he didn't know what was on each tape so it was a surprize iyswim

No bother at all QoQ. I'll CAT you for the address and get it in the post by the end of the week.
