Neighbours addict

I had thought I was the only one who watched Neighbours, but as the result of another thread I realised I am not alone.

So I would like to admit that "my name is Auntpetunia and I am a neighbours addict! ?
Anyone else?

ooh no not Mark he's just too perfect and definately a bit odd... Toad definately looked a bit hot in the suit combo.

Must admit also, I'm very excited about Dieter Brummers new role in neighbours. I LOVED him through my teenage years on H&A.

I am a big Neighbours fan! Started watching it as a child (sometimes secretly as TV watching was sometimes not allowed!) and Home and Away too. Now i just watch Neighbours, the storylines are a bit far fetched and it does annoy me how some of the characters are never mentioned once they've left but i still watch it religiously!

I really want Mark and Jade to get together, they would make a better looking couple, although it would never happen :( I'm starting to like Jade now, she's a good actress she was very funny when she was trying to get Mark's phone back in that episode last week. And Kate-shiny-face just annoys me so much.

I'm so with you. Kate has no redeeming features whatsoever.

Oh I agree I can't stand Kate, she has a shiney face, no chest and is a crap actress... whoops is that a bit harsh.

I'm a Neighbours addict too! Have introduced my 7 year old dd1 to it and we watch together at 7pm on 5*. Absolutely love it, even with the flimsy plot lines - it's so much happier than other soaps (Although I do watch Corrie and Eastenders).

Even my dp has started watching it and grudgingly enjoying it, although he does insist on speaking in a very annoying aussie accent throughout (or taking the mickey out of Andrew's scotstralian accent )

i'm a neighbours addict too! i love it! having been watching since i can remember! my DS (age 7) says to me can we watch neighbours now he loves it too! i always sky plus it at lunch time so we can watch after school!

I used to look up all the spoilers on the Australian website but am being good now as it was spoiling my fun. I'm really looking forward to the Sonya/Toadie/Callum storyline developing. Such a crap good twist.

I started watching Neighbours 19 years ago when I had my DS1 - it made me sit down for 20 mins each day regardless, then continued for a few years. A couple of years ago DS2 got into it and every evening we watch it together (it's on seried link on the Sky+); kinda our thing now.

Don't watch any other soap and don't even enjoy it that much either but it has punctuated my life for such a long time now, that it is part of my world.

I love Neighbours too but could someone enlighten me as to what Sonia's addiction is? I missed most of last week's episodes - many thanks

I thought Sonia was an alcoholic which was why they all did concerned faces when she ordered a beer the other day but - relieved faces - didn't drink it... Unless they are really uptight about drinking what was all that about??

Anyway, yep, another Neighbours addict, though have to say H+A is soooo much better these days. Neighbours is becoming like a panto, though I am appreciateg the Brummer.

oh yes! That does bring back memories of Sonys getting awsomely drunk at a bar when Libby was dating the other Doctor at the Hospital.
