Glee - Father and Kurt scene

I'm not usually a fan of things like Glee and started to watch it ironically, but have kind of gotten hooked into it!

Just watched the father and son scene where the guy tells his gay son to value himself when it comes to sex. Thought it was handled really beautifully.

Feel free to ignore or criticise...

it was lovely and i felt a bit like that with santana and brittneys' song too
all very nicely done

oh and brittney (my fave) was wearing a top i've got tonight too

ahh - agree - the scene with Kurt & his dad was and Landslides is one of my all-time fave songs so i was a happy (easter) bunny...

all the scenes with kurt & his dad have been great. loved it when his dad laid into finn over the way he spoke to kurt.

I love Kurt's Dad, he's my favourite Glee character.

Landslide was also covered by the , it sounded like this was the version done on Glee.

I have a love hate realtionship wth Glee, but Kurt and his Dad will usually get me bawling my eyes out much to my embarassment. Very touching, and Kurt's little face....

I thought that scene was very well worded and the sort of thing I would say to my DC.

I may watch that over and over, so when my dd is older I can remember what to say and how to say it. If she's gay, I want to be like Kurt's dad and really think about how she'll feel and how best to get her to make good choices. If she's not, I'd still like her to get that message, that she's worth something and shouldn't throw herself away on boys who won't give a monkeys about her.

Thought I'd be on my own with this one, so apologies for not coming back til today :)

It was way better than the alcohol episode which just struck me as totally unbelievable.

Yup, it was great. Absolutely the message you want to give your child, gay or straight. Kurt's dad generally is a bit of a star.

As for Ms Paltrow, I find her dancing is really putting me off the voice and character, which would otherwise be ok. She's so tall, she comes across as a bit gangly and unco-ordinated [sharpens claws]. Glad to see maybe she has a flaw!!

All scene's featuring Kurt's dad and Kurt are fantastic and emotional, I love the way they are handing Kurts feelins for Blaine and their relationship.... loved when Rachel kissed Blaine and he says something like ''thank you, I now know I am definately gay!"
