What happened to Tommy in brothers and sisters?

He looks really gaunt, drugs perhaps? Can't just all be down to weight loss? What do you think? Anyone got info? I used to quite fancy Tommy, well not Tommy but his real self being a billionaire Getty!

oh my god i was thinking the same thing. he looks so skinny and frail now.
think he's been under a lot of pressure with the whole affair with sienna miller and divorce and stuff so maybe that took a toll.

I thought they'd replaced Balthazar Getty with another actor when I first saw him, but no, at closer inspection it really is him!!!
Apparently he has had problems with drugs in the past, and his 54 year old father Paul Getty died in February of this year after a long illness, or perhaps he just lost weight ...and went too far!

Ah makes sense, poor guy looks just ill just proves that losing that much weight is not always a good look and money doesn't buy everything!

I kept thinking he was a new actor but quite well matched to the old one . He does look different.

Thought it was just me. Spent ages trying to work out if they'd 'done a Neighbours' and swopped him for another actor. In my defence our TV and my eyesight is knackered!

Yes! had to check the credits. He was also going to be in the hobbit but has had to pull out. who knew there is life after enders?!
