emmerdale layla storyline and others

Started watching Emmerdale again years of not watching it, after Jackson's accident, but don't always manage to catch it, can someone fill me in on.

Layla and her sister, who's little boy is it, and I think she said (one who owns the shop ) that she gave him to her sister??? completely confused about this storyline can someone help explain,

and Debbie Dingle's mum and Dad (can't think of their names) aren't they cousins?.

and also the girl Jenni Dingle, who is her Dad and is her mum the same lady who was going out with the man that died in the fire???

Please help me make sense of it

Slightly to admit that I watch often enough to know the answers to most of these...

OK. Leyla is Jacob's birth mother, and yes, she gave him to her sister Alicia and her husband when he was born because she was young and the family pressured her into it. Alicia obviously knew that Leyla was the bio mother, but only discovered recently that Jacob was the product of an affair (or one night stand, can't remember) between Leyla and the Alicia's husband.

I think that Charity and Cain are cousins, yes, but I don't know where exactly each of them fits in the family.

Jenni appeared in the village awhile ago looking for her birth father. She had been adopted at birth and her adoptive father had recently died. Her adoptive mum followed her to the village (yes, the woman who was going out with Terry who died in the fire). The bio father turned out to be Shadrach Dingle, which makes her the sister of Chas and aunt of Aaron.
