I agree about the other series' being better bluebump. Bought myself s1&2 but don't think I'll bother with the others. Loving seeing Anne Boleyn be a lawyer in 'Silk' atm :)

This comment reminded me of one of my favourite aspects of the series:

"I loved the way the characters helpfully reminded each other about who was who.

The classic example of this was when we met Francis Bryan bonking either Lady Hertford or Ursula Misseldon - can't remember which.

While in flagrante:
"You don't know who I am, do you?"
"I do! You're Sir Francis Bryan..."
