Anyone see Afterlife tonight?

Cant believe I missed the last episode but did anyone else see it and does anyone know if its going to be shown again on ITV2 or 3?

It was good wasn't it FK, I was on MN and not expecting to be even slightly interested, but v good.

I saw it and really enjoyed it, lots of spooky and tearful moments or that could be my pregnancy hormones.

few cheesy bits so overall really good.

OK I was hoping not to have to resort to this but if you insist on prolonging my agony - I have err you know, what you might call special powers. It is in your own best interests that you tell me what happened did one of them die and did he finally acknowledge his son?!?!?!

alison was cornered by the survivors of the rail crash she was in and they wanted her to contact their loved ones. they had a seyance, that bloke (the psychologist) was there and his son josh came thru - he finally beleived in her, gave his son 'permission' to crosss over, then Alison died.

ive never seen this before but ended up watching tonights..well i assume it is this programme with someone called alice/alison?

What seriously Alison died? Cant believe youve ruined for me - no point in me watching it now is there! I suppose if its coming out on DVD it wont be repeated for a while then! Cant believe I missed it. Its all DH's fault... stomps off muttering swear words under breath ...

well the guy in the burns mask gave her mouth to mouth and the psychologist was holding her and weeping like a little girl (no oscar for him) and the other woman back at the computer logged on and found these same survivors had been linked to the death by heart failure of another medium, and since it 'faded to black' with Alison sprawled on the pavement i think you are supposed to assume she's dead.

but then there'll be another series and we'll find out she was saved at the last second.

Im really pleased that psychologist made peace with his son - it was really bothering me that sad little boy who kept popping up at windows wanting his father to acknowledge him - I know I know its not real its just TV - but I needed closure on that! Thanks guys!

Did she die then? I thought she survived - wasnt paying attention!

I enjoyed the series but thought it was unrealistic!

I believed she moaned twice after being given mouth to mouth, therefore was alive.... [scratchin her hear emoticon] or ... was it my neighbour?

I though she breathed right at the end..and her eyes flickered???

That spoils it for me...if she did die!!

she did not die -- or if she did, then breathing and flicking your eyes are a new symptom of death!! Surely she had to survive to keep door open for series 2!!

No she didnt die I'm sure! She made a couple of strange noises, cos I remember thinking "oh shes ok!" and then it finished!

I hope they make another series - Saturday nights just wont be the same

she is such a good actress... totally convincing in whatever she is in (is it Lesley Sharpe?)
