Corrie: the Marc storyline might be worth it after all

Watching?

Not only has Audrey now found out about the cross-dressing, she's done so in a police station after he's been beaten up.

Corrie hasn't done terribly well with realistic story lines of late. I do hope it redeems itself on this one. With nearly everything else still dire, we need a good one.

Yes, something is definitely adrift in Jim's finances.

The Becky storyline is just wrong. But who might take over from the MacDonalds at The Rovers? Nice to see Betty still working there!

do becky n steve really leave? i'm guessing no cos I havnt heard anything about it. The show wouldnt be the same without them.

nope dont want spoilers - I even avoid the tv guide in Saturdays paper - hence probably why I havnt read that they are leaving (if they are!)

There isn't anyone obvious to take over the pub is there? Either they are broke or have criminal records as long as your arm and wouldn't get the licence.

See, I would have though that a few more years down the line Tina and Graeme would have been perfect candidates, but no, they've had to wreck that one with the Xin storyline.

I mean I'm not sure what the conditions are for the licence, but that was why Liz was the licensee because Steve had a criminal record.

Im sure he gets jailed for an armed robbery gone wrong trying to get money and its been well publicised that Bev Callard is leaving, I read shes going to get a "Bet Lynch" send off, whatever that may mean Grin

I love Corrie, but I do wish the scriptwriters would remember people's histories. When Audrey was assuming that cross-dressing = gay, she went on at length about a gay man she knew back in the 80's to show she was "gay friendly" - but surely she'd have been more likely to talk about Ted, her old ex (Gail's dad) who was gay, and back in their lives until quite recently. He's not been mentioned for ages now - he missed all the Gail-in-prison saga, and I bet he doesn't show up or get mentioned when it's Davids wedding this week. Where's he meant to be???
